As a Music & Talent Contract Specialist, you will play a critical role in the entire contract lifecycle. You'll collaborate with internal and external legal teams, procurement, finance, studios, and external music/talent partners (labels, publishers, composers, etc.) to ensure seamless contract execution and payment processing. Your expertise will be essential in navigating legal processes, vendor systems, and maintaining meticulous records. This role is perfect for someone passionate about the gaming industry and eager to contribute to a dynamic and creative environment.

  • Manage Purchase Orders (POs) and invoices, monitor payment status, and resolve any payment delays.
  • Onboard new suppliers, collect necessary tax/vendor forms, and maintain accurate account information.
  • Handle supplier inquiries regarding payment, tax issues, and vendor account troubleshooting.
  • Maintain and update SharePoint trackers and contract databases with deal-specific information.
  • Generate payment reports and summaries for internal use.

Must-Haves:

  • 3+ years of experience in contracts administration, legal operations, music licensing, or entertainment business affairs.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple deadlines and competing priorities.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with legal, finance, and creative teams.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, SharePoint), Adobe Acrobat, and electronic signature tools (e.g., DocuSign, Adobe Sign).

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Knowledge of music licensing rights in games, TV/film, or media.
  • Experience with contract/rights management tools.
  • Experience in the gaming, music, or interactive entertainment industry.
  • Paralegal certificate or coursework in contracts/music business.
