Quality Assurance – Mobile Testing Using Appian
Key responsibilities
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and development teams to gather and understand functional requirements and workflows for banking applications
• Create test plans, test cases and test scripts aligned with the functional requirements focusing on core banking functionalities, compliance and security
• Perform functional, regression, integration and system testing for banking products like loans, payments, credit cards or digital banking platforms
• Use JIRA/Rally to track and manage defects. Provide documentation and coordinate with development teams to resolve issues
• Work closely with customer teams to provide updates, clarity issues and ensure delivery meets expectations
• Ensure testing aligns with banking regulations and standards/other applicable compliance requirements
• Assist during user acceptance testing by helping stakeholders test scenarios, track issues and provide resolutions
• Generate detailed test reports, dashboards, and metrics using JIRA, Rally to share testing progress and outcomes
Required skills
• 5+ years of experience in functional QA testing preferably in banking/financial services domain
• String experience with JIRA or Rally for test case management, defect tracking and reporting
• Solid understanding of SDLC/STLC in Agile or Waterfall environments
• Excellent analytical skills and proficiency in functional, integration, regression and system testing methodologies
