Job Description

We are looking for a creative, results-driven Marketing Manager to join our PTO Today team. PTO Today is the trusted go-to resource for parent group leaders, offering expert advice, innovative ideas, and essential products for PTO and PTA organizations. In this role, you will lead the development and execution of marketing campaigns that boost awareness and engagement among parent group leaders and school administrators. Your expertise in marketing strategy, campaign planning, and content creation will be instrumental in driving engagement and generating leads for our products.If you thrive on testing new ideas, creating compelling content, and want to make a meaningful impact on school communities across the country, we want you on our team!What Youll DoDevelop and execute annual marketing plans to support the strategic growth of PTO Todays products and services.Create and manage compelling marketing materials, including blog posts, emails, social media content, videos, webinars, and other assets.Analyze marketing performance using Google Analytics and other reporting tools to refine strategies and optimize results.Plan and execute targeted email and digital campaigns, leveraging segmentation and personalization strategies to increase engagement.Support and promote PTO Today events, including attending 5 to 6 in-person conferences and multiple virtual webinars per year, contributing to presentation development and marketing management. Manage marketing content on the PTO Today website in our CMS (Joomla), ensuring content is relevant and optimized.Contribute to social media strategy, including co-managing a private Facebook group for parent group leaders.Stay current with marketing trends and maintain deep insights into the parent group landscape to refine messaging and engagement strategies.What Were Looking ForEducation & Experience:Bachelors or associate degree in marketing, business, or a related field preferred.Minimum 2 years of proven experience in marketing management with a preferred focus on B2B or product marketing.Skills & Competencies:Strong content writing and storytelling skills, with the ability to engage audiences. Writing samples will be requested.Experience in Google Analytics, email marketing, social media strategy, and digital marketing.Self-starter who is highly organized, with excellent time and project management skills; experience using Asana or similar project management tools.Solid analytical skills to interpret marketing data and make data-driven decisions.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.Creative problem-solver with a passion for developing innovative marketing strategies lets see something new! Preferred Experience:Knowledge of parent-teacher organizations or prior experience in the K-12 education sector is a plus.Experience with Joomla or other CMS platforms.
