Job Description

We are seeking a Machinist   to join our team! You will operate and repair a variety of machines and mechanical instruments.

Responsibilities:

• Operate machine tools to produce precision parts and instruments
• Modify parts and materials to improve overall production
• Test completed equipment to detect and remove defects
• Perform routine maintenance on machinery
• Technical knowledge of tools needed to grind or cut material, including metal.
• Versed in manufacturing processes.
• Calculate dimensions and tolerance using measuring instruments
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various machinery, including steel forming systems.
• Proficiency in reading and understanding interpret designs, blueprints, and technical documents.
• Ability to understand numbers, measurements, and design instructions.
• Skilled in using hand tools effectively and safely.
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills with the ability to work well under pressure.
• Strong commitment to adhering to safety protocols and maintaining a safe working environment.

​ Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years' experience as a Machinist in a manufacturing environment.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• A valid Forklift License 
• Excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively across all levels of the organization.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Hours:

Monday to Friday 7: 30 am to 4:30 pm
