Join us at Teradata as a Lead Cloud Solutions Engineer, where your expertise will play a crucial role in the development and enhancement of our cloud analytics and data platform.

Your compensation will reflect your skills and experience, with a base pay range of $111,800.00 to $167,700.00 per year.

What You'll Do:

• Collaborate with software and test engineers to enhance service stability and quality.
• Streamline build and release processes.
• Develop automated testing infrastructures for Teradata Compute Engine products on public cloud platforms.

Who You'll Work With:

• You will be part of a dynamic team that is responsible for building the Teradata Compute Engine, a solution designed to facilitate rapid and cost-efficient AI innovation in the cloud.
• This position reports to the Senior Manager, Cloud Engineering.

Qualifications:

1. Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field with a minimum of 3 years of experience, or a Bachelor’s degree in the same fields with at least 5 years of experience.
2. Proficiency in modern programming languages such as Python, Java, or Go.
3. Experience in building, testing, and operating distributed software systems on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
4. Strong Linux environment and Bash/Shell skills.
5. Expertise in microservices, REST APIs, and web application development/testing.
6. Passion for software quality and troubleshooting, along with experience in testing software and cloud services.

What You'll Bring:

• Experience with continuous integration and delivery processes.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, Ansible, Saltstack, or CloudFormation.
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with databases and SQL.
