Job Description

Duffee + Eitzen, an established family law firm in Dallas and Wichita Falls, is looking for a Law Firm Public Relations/ Marketing Specialist/ Creative Talent, to aid the firm in its marketing and PR efforts.

This role will work closely with our firm’s partners to support business development efforts, create and post digital content, manage the firm’s social media account, and coordinate public relations, firm marketing and business development events to ensure they are in-line with the firm’s established branding.

This role’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Manage the firm’s social media pages (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram).
  • Create, marketing content for social media, the website, and print ads in local attorney publications.
  • Draft and edit press releases to convey firm news.
  • Manage submissions and nomination processes for attorney awards (Best of D Magazine, SuperLawyers, etc).
  • Build relationships with local attorney-focused and other organizations to keep attorneys aware of potential marketing and business development opportunities.
  • Serve as Event Coordinator, working with outside vendors and internal parties to ensure successful firm marketing events that line up with the firm’s branding and marketing vision.
  • Connect and develop PR opportunities such as speaking and media opportunities for the lawyers.
  • Help design and order firm branded merchandise for speaking and marketing events.
  • Coordinate annual photo shoot and photo shoots associated with print advertising.

If you have most or all of the following qualifications, please apply:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Creative graphics art/design skills
  • Public Relations background
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with a strong understanding of grammar, punctuation, and usage rules
  • Prior law firm experience preferred, but not required.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills required. Must be able to meet deadlines and juggle multiple projects simultaneously.
