Overview

As a Landscape Architect Intern for Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC), you will find yourself working as part of a collaborative design team consisting of engineers, ecologists, scientists, architects, and developers to create sustainable developments for our commercial, public, institutional, residential and energy clients. This position may involve:

Assisting with the creation of site layout, grading, landscape, utility, and sustainable stormwater management plans.
• Preparing high quality visual graphics that help our clients and the public visualize the project upon completion and highlight key project features.
• Collaborating with other CEC practices to learn the "big picture" view of CEC, and how we support our clients.

Through the CEC Internship Program, you will:

• Acquire practical experience applying knowledge from college courses, learn from industry experts, and collaborate with teams across functional groups and locations;
• Develop a robust professional network through social events and interactive activities;
• Collaborate closely with a mentor in your discipline to tackle real-world challenges;
• Participate in workshops to help foster interpersonal skills within the workplace and prepare students for success in their full-time careers.

Qualifications

• Current enrollment in an undergraduate Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or Landscape Architecture program;
• Previous AutoCAD experience a plus; and
• Previous intern experience is a plus.
