Position Overview
We are seeking a creative and skilled Landscape Architect to to over a Landscape Department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing outdoor spaces, enhancing the aesthetic appeal and functionality of various environments. This role requires a deep understanding of landscape design, planning, and permitting processes, as well as the ability to collaborate with clients and other professionals to bring innovative designs to life.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and preferences for outdoor spaces.
• Develop comprehensive landscape design plans that meet aesthetic and functional requirements.
• Conduct site analysis and assess environmental factors to inform design decisions.
• Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and cost estimates for projects.
• Navigate the permitting process to ensure compliance with local regulations and guidelines.
• Work closely with contractors and project managers during the implementation of designs.
• Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and best practices in landscape architecture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Landscape Architecture or related field.
• Licensed Landscape Architect certification is required.
• Proven experience in landscape design and planning, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
• Familiarity with local zoning laws and permitting processes.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with clients and team members.
• Proficient in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
