Job Description

Our client, a leader in the food safety industry, is seeking a Laboratory Technician to join their team. As a Laboratory Technician, you will be part of the quality assurance department supporting the operational teams. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication skills which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Laboratory Technician 

Location: Minneapolis, MN

Pay Range: $29 - $34/hr.

What's the Job?

• Conduct routine analytical and laboratory testing in support of food safety quality.
• Document results of tests into databases and communicate findings verbally and in writing.
• Utilize safe laboratory practices to ensure a secure working environment.
• Support trials and experiments under the guidance of senior team members.
• Manage laboratory supplies by inventorying stock and placing orders as needed.

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Four years of related work experience.
• Proven working knowledge of laboratory instrumentation and ISO 17025 standards.
• Preferred: Three or more years of experience within a laboratory or food manufacturing environment.
• Preferred: Bachelor's or Associate's Degree in a Scientific Field or equivalent experience.
