Position Junior Graphic Designer Location Alexandria, VA About The Role As a Junior Graphic Designer at FlexPoint Media, you will have the exciting opportunity to play a crucial role in shaping the visual identity of campaign, advertising and digital content at all levels. Working closely with the Creative Director and Digital Team, you will contribute your creativity and design skills to produce compelling graphics that resonate with target audiences and support our clients’ objectives. This entry‑level position is perfect for individuals passionate about the ever‑expanding digital space and interested in the intersection of politics and visual communication. Salary will match experience and skill level. This role is in‑person. Local or willing‑to‑relocate candidates only. Responsibilities Will Include Designing high‑quality graphics, utilizing our clients’ branding, and executing our content strategy. Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute fresh ideas and perspectives to the creative process. Collaborate with other designers and strategists to conceptualize and execute visually engaging designs for various campaigns, including digital ads, social media graphics, merchandise, and more. Attending project kick‑off and status meetings internally and participating in client meetings as needed. Stay up‑to‑date with design trends, political developments, and competitor strategies to continuously improve the quality and effectiveness of our designs. Requirements 1‑3 years of work experience in graphic design, and/or a related field (Internships can count) Proficiency in industry‑standard design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Figma) – familiarity with web design programs a plus. Strong portfolio showcasing creative and well‑executed design work, preferably including examples related to political or advocacy campaigns. Excellent attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment. Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to effectively present and discuss design concepts and collaborate with team members and clients.
