POSITION SUMMARY:

The Junior Financial Analyst supports the finance team in analyzing financial data, preparing reports, and assisting with budgeting and forecasting processes. This entry-level role is ideal for someone with strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a desire to grow within a dynamic finance environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Analyze financial data and trends to support business decisions.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting processes by gathering and organizing data.
  • Reconcile financial discrepancies and assist in variance analysis.
  • Maintain and update financial models and spreadsheets.
  • Collaborate with other departments to gather financial information and insights.
  • Assist with audits and ensure compliance with internal controls and financial policies.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling.
  • Basic understanding of financial statements and accounting principles.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Internship or 1–2 years of experience in a finance or accounting role.
  • Experience with financial software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, or similar).
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
