You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, project managers, and stakeholders, to ensure the effective use of Jira for task management and project tracking. Additionally, you will maintain system integrity, implement best practices for Jira administration, and continuously optimize workflows to improve overall team productivity. Administer and configure Jira environments, including workflows, custom fields, permissions, and notifications Keep Jira software and add-ons up to date with the latest versions, patches, and security updates Collaborate with software engineers, project managers, and stakeholders to define and implement Jira best practices for task and project management Monitor Jira performance and troubleshoot any issues related to access, functionality, or configuration Maintain accurate documentation of Jira configurations, processes, and troubleshooting steps Analyze team workflows and identify areas for improvement, making recommendations, and implementing changes as needed Basic Qualifications: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze and optimize workflows Familiarity with Jira, Jira Service Management, Confluence, and other Atlassian products Excellent communication skills and ability to train and support others on Jira usage Working knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies Ability to write custom JQL (Jira Query Language) Preferred Qualifications: Strong understanding of Jira workflows, permissions, and configurations Experience with scripting and automation within Jira (e.g., using Automation for Jira, scripting languages like Groovy) Atlassian Professional Certifications The estimated pay range for this position is USD $48.00/hr - USD $53.00/hr.
