Job Description
Hi! We're looking for a dynamic, cheerful & fun assistant with curiosity about interior design . Organizational & great communication skills is a must as well as the ability to multitask, problem solve, manage projects and work with vendors and contractors. This is a part-time/as needed work that may grow into a full-time opportunity. As an assistant; you will support the design principal in all stages of the design process.
Usual responsibilities are:
* Assist in organizing mood boards & design boards
* Track/Follow-up item shipping/delivery/installation
* Coordinate with contractors & vendors
* Overseeing & assisting in installation
* Work with spreadsheets, canva & the like
* Visit showrooms, check out sample materials, swatches, fabrics & finishes
* Maintain/Organize records of client activities
* Perform project site visits; ensure follow-through w/ timelines
* Anticipate needs and take initiative to solve problems as they arise
* Perform social media marketing, assist in developing & facilitating a PR & Marketing schedule
