Our client, a leading organization in the industry sector, is seeking a Human Resource Assistant to join their team. As a Human Resource Assistant, you will be part of the HR department supporting the overall HR functions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, effective communication, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Human Resource Assistant

Location: New York, NY

Pay Range: $31.25

Shift: 9:00AM - 5:00PM, Monday to Friday

What's the Job?

• Serve as backup receptionist and handle incoming inquiries professionally
• Act as intermediary with outsourced HR company to facilitate communication and processes
• Assist new hires with paperwork, ensuring compliance with I-9 and work authorization regulations
• Provide administrative support to HR and Accounting teams, including data entry and record management
• Oversee personnel files, maintain employee records, and support benefits administration and employee leave processing

What's Needed?

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in HR administration or related field
• Proficiency in Excel and Word applications
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
• Experience with multi-state HR practices is a plus
