Job Description

LaSalle Network is hiring on behalf of a nonprofit dedicated to empowering young people from underserved communities to explore and pursue careers in the production arts-spanning film, theater, music, lighting, set design, and more. Through hands-on training, mentorship, and access to industry networks, they bridge the gap between passion and opportunity, helping the next generation of behind-the-scenes creatives find their place in the world of entertainment.


Due to growth, they are seeking a dynamic and strategic Development Director . This role will be instrumental in driving donor engagement, securing grants and sponsorships, and building sustainable funding pipelines that fuel the company mission and programs.



Development Director Responsibilities:

• Identify, cultivate, and solicit individual donors, corporate sponsors, and foundation partners to meet revenue goals
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with donors through consistent, personalized communication
• Create compelling donor impact reports and stewardship materials
• Attend donor meetings, networking events, and industry functions to grow visibility and funding pipelines.
• Research new funding opportunities, donor trends, and partnership alignments.
• Track and manage all outreach in CRM

Development Director Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Nonprofit Management, Communications, Arts Administration, or related field
• 2+ years of experience in nonprofit fundraising, development, or donor relations.
• Strong writing and communication skills with proven success in grant writing and donor outreach
• Familiarity with donor CRM systems (e.g., DonorPerfect, Salesforce, Bloomerang)
• Passion for the arts, youth empowerment, and equity in education and career access
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment

This position is 100% remote and requires current residency in Boston, Massachusetts.
