UPS STORE Canton MI IS HIRING STORE Graphic Designer FULL TIME/PART -TIME

You will be responsible for the daily tasks of the store. The ideal candidate will have meticulous attention to detail and prior retail/UPS Store experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Delivers outstanding customer service to walk-in customers and telephone inquiries
• Continuously practices good listening skills with customers, UPS Store team members, and leadership
• Takes ownership of the customer's shipping needs and offers viable solutions
• Takes action to learn all product and service offerings, alternative solutions, and industry trends
• Operates all equipment, software, and devices
• Maintains a clean, organized, and safe working environment
• Stays current with web-based training and best practices
• Delivers outstanding customer service to walk-in customers and telephone inquiries
• Empathizes and manages to demand, impatient, and/or frustrated customers to turn a stressful event into a positive experience
• Packages shipments for safe arrival, including assembling stock boxes, building custom boxes, and properly cushioning contents
• Takes ownership of customers’ packing, shipping, and/or print problems and offers viable solutions
• Takes ownership of the customer's shipping needs and offers viable solutions

QUALIFICATIONS

• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Adobe Suites
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including spelling and math
• Prompt, reliable, and responsible
• Able to work collaboratively
• Able to lift 40+ pounds
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Strong digital print background is recommended. He or she must be a fast learner who makes an effort to learn all aspects of the business in the shortest possible time.
