Job Description

The Graphic Designer will support the Brand Strategy & Creative team and be a problem solver and conceptual thinker. This role is responsible for helping design and produce marketing collateral creative consisting of PowerPoint presentations, data sheets, video and animation creation, trade show design, and email templates for case studies, product launches, announcements, infographics, and go-to-market presentations. This person will work both independently and in collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders, project managers, brand managers, copywriters, and other designers to ensure consistency in quality of work and be able to manage multiple projects to meet timelines and due dates. This role is responsible for maintaining brand standards on all materials by carrying through design concepts on new assets, supporting ongoing updates, maintenance, and design of supporting assets including paid media ads and templates. Ideal Candidate Ability to prioritize projects to meet pre-established timelines and deliver assets on time Design on brand in line with established style guides Comfortable working independently and as part of a larger team Strong design aesthetic that brings together brand expressions and systems thinking Track record of working with strong design systems and implementing design vision and systems for larger brand presence and consistency Strategic mindset and system thinking approach to taking the complex and making it simple Strong understanding of design principles (layout, typography, space) with strong attention to detail Ability to see problems from various angles and create well-rounded solutions Team-first mentality Willingness to work on all levels of projects from production to design Great attitude and willingness to have fun Minimum Qualifications BA in Graphic Design or other relevant education At least 3 years of professional design experience Full knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite (specifically Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects), Figma Solid working knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint, Office Ability to distinguish good layout/typography, apply color theory, hierarchy, and balance Ability to troubleshoot minor problems with typography, layout, applications, hardware Meticulous production quality of assets and work files EEO Employer Apex Systems is an equal opportunity employer.
