Sodexo’s Campus Segment is seeking a Food Production Manager 2 to support our dynamic dining program at Central Connecticut State University (CCSU) in New Britain, CT. CCSU is home to over 10,000 students and features a diverse and engaging dining program—including Memorial Hall Café, the newly opened Hilltop Café, Starbucks, multiple retail venues, and our latest concept, ZIME. This position plays a key leadership role, overseeing production across residential and retail dining venues. We’re looking for a passionate culinary professional with strong leadership skills and experience in high-volume food service. Union experience and familiarity with collective bargaining agreements is highly preferred. What You'll Do Oversee daily food production operations for campus dining, including residential and retail venues Lead culinary teams to deliver high-quality, nutritious, and visually appealing meals Maintain Sodexo culinary and safety standards across all units Mentor and train kitchen staff, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence Manage food and labor costs to meet financial goals and support budget initiatives Partner with front-of-house and retail leaders to enhance the overall customer experience Support strategic planning, innovation, and continuous improvement initiatives What We Offer Compensation is fair and equitable, partially determined by a candidate's education level or years of relevant experience.
