Our client, a world-wide manufacturer and highly successful, privately-held company who serves top Fortune 500 companies is looking to hire an entry-level Financial Analyst for the commercial finance department. 

Scope of the role: 
  • Hybrid schedules, 2-days per week 

  • Office located in Tinley Park, IL

  • Must be comfortable in Excel

  • Bachelor Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or Economics required 


Responsibilities: 

  • Utilizing analysis tools, create pricing proposals and price structure write-ups for delivery to sales departments 

  • Research, analyze and review margins, cost elements, historical rates, customer volume, and other estimating relationships

  • Produce clean and accurate data through Excel and other strategic tools 

  • Adjust, correct, upload, and apply write-ups and pricing models into Oracle

  • Coordinate the collection of data, information, and documentation needs for necessary pricing proposals

  • Respond to business opportunities timely and maintain email communication across Finance, Operations, Sales and Pricing groups


Qualifications:
We are looking for an entry level candidate with sharp Excel skills and a Bachelor Degree in one of these core areas:

  • Bachelor Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or Economics 

  • Comfortable navigating Excel through formulas, pivot tables or vlookup functions

  • Professional and confident communication skills 

  • Must be analytical, with the ability to work well with others, collaborate cross-functionally and effectively communication between several departments

  • Must be willing and able to work in-office out of Tinley Park, IL 

  • Must be willing and able to work in a contracted role for 6+ months (potential to convert to permanent)

Pay Details: $50,000.00 to $60,000.00 per year
