Your Role:

As a Radiology Technologist, your primary responsibility will be to perform diagnostic imaging exams with precision and care. Collaborating with radiologists and healthcare professionals, you'll ensure top-quality imaging outcomes.

Essential Functions:

• Maintain ARRT or modality-specific competency in all relevant clinical and technical functions.
• Ensure accurate patient identification and prepare patients for various exams.
• Conduct exams according to department protocols and review images for quality.
• Strictly adhere to radiation safety guidelines and maintain a safe working environment.
• Complete studies efficiently while ensuring high standards in patient care and image quality.
• Assist and instruct students and other techs in protocols and procedures.
• Provide patient education and ensure patient comfort throughout the imaging process.
• Implement infection control and sterile techniques diligently.
• Utilize equipment and information systems effectively for quality imaging.
• Keep precise records of patient information and procedures.
• Follow protocols for coding, charging, and reporting any equipment failures.

Minimum Qualifications:

• ARRT (R) certification
• State licensure as a radiologic technologist
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers
• Willingness to complete the Medical Assistant (MA) Competency Checklist if required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1-2 years of radiology experience
• IV Certification
