Job Description

An ESL teaching position is open for the 2025-2026 school year at a K-12 school in the Franklin, TN area. This contract role is designed to provide specialized English language instruction within a supportive educational environment serving approximately 15 English Learners (ELs).

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver tailored lessons to EL students across individual and small-group settings, addressing diverse proficiency levels.
• Modify and adapt general education curricula to meet the linguistic and academic needs of ELs, ensuring access to grade-level content.
• Utilize a range of instructional strategies, including multimedia and technology, to engage varied language abilities and learning styles.
• Maintain clear communication and documentation regarding student progress and instructional adjustments.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree required.
• ESL endorsement valid for grades K-8 in Tennessee.
• Experience working with EL students preferred.
• Strong instructional and classroom management skills.

Position Details:

• Location: Franklin, TN.
• Schedule: 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday.
• Caseload: Approximately 15 students.
• Employment Type: Contract for the current school year (CSY).

Benefits and Compensation:

• Hourly rate: $28 to $30.
• Weekly pay schedule.
