Mission: Foundation Academy seeks passionate and dedicated teachers to build our Summer Academy Program for Elementary School students. This program aims to accelerate learning for these crucial developmental years, bridging the gap and setting students up for success in the upcoming school year.

Reports to: Summer Academy Lead

What you'll do:

• Develop and implement engaging, interactive lessons aligned with program goals and state standards.
• Provide personalized academic support, differentiating instruction to meet individual student needs.
• Cultivate a positive, nurturing classroom environment that celebrates diversity and encourages growth.
• Integrate effective classroom management strategies to ensure a focused and productive learning atmosphere.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and create a positive team environment.
• Participate in program planning and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or Elementary Education (required).
• New Jersey teaching certification for P-3 or K-6 (required)
• Strong knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices and curriculum standards.
• Prior experience teaching Elementary School preferred.
• Passion for making a difference in the lives of children.
• Culturally responsive teaching practices and experience working with diverse population's a plus.

Additional Information:

• Start date: 7/7/25
• End date: 8/1/25
• Salary: $40 per hour
• Location: Trenton, NJ
