Job Title: Electrical Engineer
Job Location: Whippany, NJ
Job Salary: 120k - 140k + Benefits
Requirements: Electric Engineering, Embedded Processors, Motion Controls, Altium 

Based in Whippany, NJ, we are a global designer and manufacturer of high-performance lifting and pulling devices for military and civilian aircraft, including rescue hoists, winches, and cargo hooks.

Due to growth, we are looking for an Electrical Engineer with 3+ years of experience. Must have experience with analog-based motion controls and processor-based motion controls. We prefer candidates who have knowledge in aerospace electrical engineering and design.

What You Will Be Doing

1. Prepare electrical designs for large-scale projects.
2. Apply design knowledge in power distribution, grounding, lighting, control systems, and equipment specification and selection.
3. Analyze complex engineering problems and offer effective resolutions.
4. Lead and direct engineers, designers, and support personnel on large-scale projects.
5. Design of Embedded Processor-based digital equipment.

What You Need for this Position

Must Have Skills

• 3+ years of experience as an Electrical Engineer working with Embedded Processors 
• Experience with analog-based motion controls and processor-based motion controls.
• Familiarity with Altium Designer, OrCAD, or similar software tools.
• Knowledge of aerospace electrical engineering and design, and be familiar with applicable codes, standards, and acceptable industry practices
• Knowledge of DO-160, MIL-STD-704, and MIL-STD-461 requirements preferred 
• Minimum B.S. or M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering or similar discipline from an accredited school
