Competitive hourly rate - $18.81 to $20 /hr.

The Driver would be the primary driver of the company vehicle with the sole purpose to pick up deliveries from the airport or outside vendors and deliver back to the restaurant within the standard timeframe (20-32 hours per week). 

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS

• High School graduate or equivalent
• Possess a valid driver’s license for the class of vehicle that is being operated
• Familiar with local roads, tolls, routes within 50 mile radius
• Is safety conscious: wears seatbelt, does not operate a phone or electronic device while operating vehicle
• Clean driving record

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Completes driver log each shift, including truck check out and truck check in
• Takes all appropriate breaks and meal periods
• Is safety conscious: wears seatbelt, does not operate a phone or electronic device while operating vehicle
• Operate company vehicles in a safe, responsible manner; and obeys all traffic laws
• Drive with courtesy; remember that our vehicles represent our company in public
• Keep vehicle always secure when unattended
• Alerts managers of any potential issues
• Immediately reports any safety defects or vehicle problems to management
• Report use of all prescription medication prior to operating the vehicle
• Stops in a safe place and rest briefly if you are tired, drowsy, fatigued, etc.
• Notify management and/or law enforcement per instructions in the driver book/binder as soon as possible in the event of a breakdown or accident
• Follow any additional rules/procedures as directed by management.
