Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Document Specialist responsible for managing and maintaining production and quality documents. This role ensures accurate storage and organization of documents, supporting compliance with quality standards.
Responsibilities
File and maintain production and quality documents, ensuring accurate storage and organization.
Manage and maintain the document room to ensure quick access during audits or investigations.
Digitize paper records through scanning and upload them into the document management system.
Retrieve documentation as requested by internal teams or external partners.
Coordinate with a third-party storage provider to request or send overflow documents.
Uphold good documentation practices (GDP) and support compliance with quality standards.
Essential Skills
Experience in document control, quality assurance, and data entry.
Proficiency in scanning, filing, copying, and archiving.
Knowledge of Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and GMP.
Experience with batch record review and documentation quality assurance.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED with 1-3 years of experience.
Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.
Technically savvy and comfortable with scanning software and document systems.
Familiarity with quality assurance knowledge is a plus.
Previous experience in biotech or pharma preferred but open to diverse backgrounds.
Work Environment
The position requires working 100% onsite from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday. The role is within a quality team comprising 7-10 people. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential, as the role involves interacting and driving communication across various groups.

This is a Contract position based out of Winslow, ME.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
