Job Title: Dermatology Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant
Location: Bakersfield, CA
Job Type: Full-Time (8 hours/day, Day Shift)
Specialty: Dermatology

About the Position:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our growing dermatology practice in Bakersfield, California . This is a full-time, day-shift position (Monday through Friday).

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive skin exams and dermatologic assessments
• Diagnose and treat a variety of skin conditions including acne, eczema, psoriasis, rashes, warts, and skin cancers
• Perform minor procedures such as cryotherapy, biopsies, excisions, and other in-office treatments
• Educate patients on skin care, sun protection, and treatment plans
• Document visits and procedures using EMR
• Collaborate with supervising physician(s) and other clinical staff as needed
• Participate in continuing education and training to maintain clinical knowledge and licensure

Qualifications:

• Valid California NP or PA license
• Certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
• Minimum of 1 year of dermatology experience preferred (medical, surgical, or cosmetic)
• Strong clinical judgment and diagnostic skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• EMR proficiency
