Job Details

Responsibilities:

• Provide visionary leadership for developing and implementing information technology initiatives that align with the mission of the company.
• Direct the development and possible implementation of policies and procedures in the areas of software development, hardware, architecture, and technology integration.
• Develop, track, and control the development of annual operating and capital budgets for purchasing, staffing, and operations.
• Identify emerging information technologies to be assimilated, integrated, and introduced within the company.
• Promote achievement of the company's business goals within a context of community collaboration by developing policies for sharing software and technological innovation.
• Establish and direct the strategic and tactical goals, policies, and procedures for the information technology department.
• Collaborate with the appropriate departments to develop and maintain a technology plan that supports company needs.
• Develop and implement all IT policies and procedures, including those for architecture, security, disaster recovery, standards, purchasing, and service provision.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5+ years of experience in a leadership role in technology, preferably in the tech services industry.
• Proven experience with tech stacks including but not limited to React.js, TypeScript, and PostgreSQL.
• Demonstrated experience in strategic planning, organization, and development.
• In-depth knowledge of current technological trends, developments, and best practices.
• Proven experience in IT project management.
• Experience in working within a start-up environment is highly desirable.
• Exceptional leadership, organizational, and time management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills, analytical abilities, and attention to detail.
