• Perform pickups and deliveries within the city and surrounding areas.

• Collect incoming products and materials and deliver outgoing items at designated times.

• Transport products and materials to specified locations.

• Assist with loading and unloading trucks.

• Verify quantities of received goods.

• Forward related paperwork to the appropriate department.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record required at the time of hire and must be maintained.

• Familiarity with the Charleston area is essential.

• Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with hospital personnel.

• Previous experience as a courier or in delivery roles is preferred.

• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

• Demonstrated ability to handle recordkeeping tasks, shipping/receiving, physical inventories, and quality control checks.

• Must be proficient with computers, including intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office and email systems such as Outlook

Skills:

1. Ability to stand on feet all day

2. Physical ability to pick orders and stock shipments

3. Understanding how to use scanner to record materials

4. Material handling and logistics experience

Best Candidate:

A+ - Comes from Courier background in healthcare field

Has computer experience

Has a CDL

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
