The Corporate Regional Director collaborates with facility leadership and cross-functional departments to optimize coding processes, enhance data quality, and ensure adherence to healthcare regulations and organizational goals. The Corporate Regional Director of HIM will develop and execute strategic direction for health information management and coding functions to align with broader revenue cycle and organizational goals. Additionally, the Healthcare Corporate Director of Health Information Management will lead operational initiatives to enhance coding accuracy, revenue cycle performance, and data quality while ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations. Not only will the Corporate Regional Director of HIM lead a team of 200+ healthcare professionals across Health Information Management (HIM), Clinical Documentation Improvement (CDI), coding, charging, clinical documentation integrity, document management, release of information, record content and completion, regulatory and statutory compliance, the Corporate Regional Director of HIM will also be the key resource for department heads to collaborate with to improve processes.
