Controller (40487)

Our client is an organization in the Oconto County area looking for a Controller. This company is looking for someone with 4+ years of experience, organized, and has excellent leadership skills. This company provides a laid-back culture, a collaborative team, and flexibility. This position is onsite to start, with the potential to be hybrid at a later date.

The salary for this job is $80k – $120k.

The Controller will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide data to the tax accounts for all tax returns.
• Create and post monthly accruals.
• Review the trial balance and general journal for any possible entry errors or omissions.
• Schedule the year end audit, including preliminary audit, inventory walk through and final audit fieldwork.
• File or provide data for the state and federal unemployment tax forms.
• Provide monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Other duties as assigned.

The Controller will possess the following:

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• 4+ years of relevant accounting experience as well as leadership experience.
• Ability to work in a very fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions.
• Knowledgeable in Excel and Word and have some experience with Access.
• Proficient in QuickBooks.
