Position Overview

The Controller is responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the company, ensuring accuracy in reporting, compliance with regulations, and strategic financial planning. This is a high-impact, complex role requiring strong leadership, analytical skills, and deep accounting expertise. Key Responsibilities

• Financial Management & Reporting
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
• Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Develop financial forecasts and budgets to support strategic planning.
• Monitor cash flow and manage financial risks.
• Accounting Operations
• Supervise accounting staff and ensure efficient operations.
• Maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.
• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll functions.
• Ensure timely and accurate tax filings and compliance with financial regulations.
• Strategic Planning & Analysis
• Provide financial insights to senior management for decision-making.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements.
• Evaluate financial performance and recommend improvements.
• Compliance & Audit
• Coordinate external audits and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Implement policies and procedures to maintain financial integrity.
• Stay updated on changes in accounting standards and tax laws.

Qualifications & Skills

• Experience & Expertise:
• Minimum of 10 years in a Controller seat with demonstrated financial leadership.
• Previous experience working with Private Equity (PE) firms or PE-backed companies.
• Strong background in managing multi-entity financial structures.
• Data-driven approach with strong analytical capabilities.
• Technical & Software Proficiency:
• Familiarity with multiple CRMs and ERP systems.
• Experience working with QuickBooks, though transitioning to more advanced financial tools.
• Soft Skills & Attributes:
• Ability to handle a high-pressure, fast-paced environment with multiple moving parts.
• Strong problem-solving and strategic thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
