Commercial Roofing Estimator – Redbird Roofing (Plano, TX)

Redbird Roofing is hiring an experienced Commercial Roofing Estimator to support our expanding operations in Texas. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of roofing or construction estimating experience and a strong understanding of TPO, metal, shingles, and coatings.

Responsibilities
• Prepare accurate cost estimates, proposals, and budgets for commercial roofing projects.
• Analyze drawings, specifications, and blueprints for detailed takeoffs and pricing.
• Determine materials, labor, and equipment needed for each project.
• Communicate regularly with clients and follow up on all bids and proposals.
• Collaborate with the production team to ensure a smooth project handoff.
• Provide detailed and accurate quantity takeoffs and project cost summaries.
• Manage multiple bids simultaneously while meeting strict deadlines.

Requirements
• 5+ years of estimating experience in commercial roofing or construction.
• Strong knowledge of roofing materials and systems (TPO, shingles, metal, coatings).
• Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and software such as Acculynx, Procore, BuildingConnected, PlanHub, BlueBook Network, and Dropbox.
• Excellent math, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and client relationship skills.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent industry experience.

Compensation & Benefits
• Base Salary: $60,000–$80,000 + Commissions + Bonuses
