Title: Clinical Research Coordinator - Internal Medicine

Facility: St. Joseph's Hospital

Previous experience in research and/or rheumatology is strongly preferred

Responsibilities:

• Assists with the coordination and implementation of clinical research studies under the direction of the Principle Investigator in accordance with the standards of good clinical practice, federal and state regulations and institutional review board (IRB) requirements.
• The job duties may include: study recruitment, establishment and maintenance of regulatory documents, patient recruitment and screening, process of informed consent and HIPPA authorization, follow-up of study subjects, specimen collection and preparation, document and specimen shipping, data abstraction, transcription and entry, and ordering and receiving of supplies.

Experience

• Required - 5 years medical related field

Education

• Required - High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Or - Associates Degree in lieu of experience

Certification

• Preferred - CCRP (Clinical Research)
• Preferred - CCRC (Clinical Research)
• Preferred - CMA (Medical Assistant)
• Preferred - LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse)

Location: Tampa, FL

Status: Full Time, Exempt: No

Shift Hours: 8:00AM - 4:30PM (Flexible)

Weekend Work: None
