A local, well-established Gastroenterology practice in Thomasville is seeking a dependable and motivated Certified or Registered Medical Assistant to join their growing team! This is a dual-role position working in both the clinic and procedure areas, offering variety in your day-to-day responsibilities and the chance to build your skillset across multiple facets of patient care. GI experience is a plus—but not required. We are happy to train the right candidate who brings a positive attitude, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to quality patient care.

What You'll Be Doing:

- Preparing and rooming patients for office visits and GI procedures
- Recording vital signs, updating medication lists, and reviewing patient histories
- Assisting providers during in-office procedures and exams
- Supporting patients pre- and post-procedure with instructions and care
- Handling administrative duties such as scheduling, phone triage, and patient follow-ups
- Documenting clearly and accurately in the EMR system
- Maintaining clean and stocked exam and procedure rooms

Who We're Looking For:

- A Certified or Registered Medical Assistant (CMA/RMA)
- Someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Detail-oriented with a compassionate, patient-first mindset
- Comfortable floating between clinical and procedural duties throughout the day
- Strong communication skills and ability to multitask efficiently
