As a CDL-B Driver, you will play a crucial role in the transportation and delivery of goods across long distances. Your primary responsibilities will include driving commercial vehicles, maintaining safety protocols, and ensuring timely and efficient delivery of cargo.Key Responsibilities:Safe and Efficient Driving: Operate commercial vehicles, typically with a CDL Class B license, while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Ensure the secure transport of goods to their destination.Cargo Handling: Load and unload goods as necessary, and ensure proper securement and handling of cargo to prevent damage during transit.Route Planning: Plan and follow designated routes, considering traffic, weather conditions, and road closures, to ensure on-time deliveries.Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenance tasks. Report any mechanical issues or safety concerns promptly.Documentation: Maintain accurate logs of driving activities, mileage, fuel consumption, and other required records.
