IQ Builders Ltd, Is a well established commercial contractor, serving Prince George and surrounding area. We rely on the performance of our employees and how they conduct themselves on our projects, with other workers and client representatives. We are a small firm with about 7-12 employees typically. Thus we are a small family environment.
Qualifications and Job description
Your role as a Certified Carpenter, we would expect you to possess a Red Seal in Carpentry, or have at least 8 years performing the work of a certified carpenter and be able to prove your qualification to do the same. We do everything from foundations, wood and steel stud framing, drywall, t bar ceiling system, Install door frames, doors, and all the accessories associated with the trade.
As Certified carpenter, you must be able to have leadership skills, and be able to conduct themselves as professionals and be able to apply best trades practices. Must be able to read drawings, and specification. Must abide by the WorksafeBC regulations. Must be able to guide a small crew of two or three workers under the guide ship of supervisor. Must have valid Drivers Licence.
We do about 70 percent of our work is in Prince George, however we do work out of town. You must be capable of working out of town. Hours of work will be co-ordinated.
We are a non unionized company, but pay competitive rates.
