Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic bar manager to join our team. This position involves managing bar operations, supervising bar staff, and overseeing customer experience with a key emphasis on enhancing sales performance and maintaining high service standards.

Bar Manager responsibilities include:

  • Collaborate with the culinary and management team to create and implement a beverage program to include both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks that complements the restaurant's cuisine.
  • Manage daily bar operations including staff scheduling, POS management, inventory management, stocking, and menu updates.
  • Supervise bartenders and bar staff to ensure efficient workflow, high-quality drink preparation, and excellent customer service.
  • Train new hires and provide ongoing education for existing staff on beverage preparation technique, menu knowledge, and customer service skills.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety and sanitation guidelines including maintaining a current food safety permit.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and fully functional bar area, ensuring that all bar equipment is well-maintained and in working order.
  • Actively engage with both team members and guests during service to ensure customer satisfaction with drinks and overall bar experience.

Qualifications:

  • Food safety and sanitation certified
  • At least 3 years of bar management experience
  • Experience in a hospitality setting
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and time management skills
  • Ability to work night, weekend, and holiday hours
  • Familiarity or a willingness to learn about Korean food and beverage
