Job Description We are seeking an experienced Senior Jira Administrator with strong expertise in Atlassian Cloud environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, configuring, and maintaining Jira Software and Jira ITSM projects, ensuring scalable and efficient solutions that meet business needs. This role requires a blend of technical proficiency, problem‑solving skills, and clear communication to collaborate effectively with stakeholders and technical teams. Key Responsibilities Design, configure, and maintain Jira Software and Jira ITSM projects in Atlassian Cloud. Develop and optimize JQL queries, workflows, automations, and permissions to support business operations. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver scalable Jira solutions. Utilize Jira REST APIs and scripting (HTML / JavaScript) for customizations and integrations. Work with key plugins such as ScriptRunner, JMWE, Email This Issue, and Extension for Jira Service Desk. Provide clear, well‑structured documentation and communicate technical concepts effectively to diverse audiences. Support Jira Cloud migrations, including workflows and data transfers. Ensure compliance with Atlassian Access and integrate with Active Directory for access control. Minimum Qualifications Proven experience with Jira administration and development, with a focus on Jira Cloud. Strong proficiency in JQL and hands‑on experience with Jira ITSM configuration. Experience with Jira REST APIs, HTML, and JavaScript for custom development. Familiarity with Atlassian Access and integration with identity management systems. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills (CEFR C2 or equivalent). Managing Jira Software & ITSM projects, including workflows, permissions, automations – 5 years. Expert‑level proficiency in JQL – 5 years. Jira REST APIs and scripting for integrations/enhancements – 5 years. Strong communication and documentation skills – 3 years.
