A nationally recognized, Chambers and Benchmark-rated law firm with offices nationwide is seeking an experienced Litigation Associate for its Antitrust Practice Group in New York.

Position Summary:

This is a full-time role for a Litigation Associate within the Antitrust Practice Group. The group is known for leading high-profile private antitrust litigation and is dedicated to securing economic justice for businesses and consumers through aggressive advocacy and skilled problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advise clients on antitrust laws and their implications for business operations
  • Represent clients before courts and regulatory bodies in antitrust matters
  • Draft legal documents including complaints, motions, and briefs
  • Conduct legal research and analyze antitrust issues
  • Monitor changes in antitrust law and assess impact
  • Participate in negotiation and mediation to resolve disputes
  • Interpret laws, rulings, and regulations for clients
  • Develop litigation strategies and prepare for case presentation

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong experience in researching and drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery
  • Proven ability to take and defend depositions
  • Effective communicator with clients, juries, judges, and opposing counsel
  • Skilled at managing multiple cases independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Advanced legal research abilities and aptitude for strategic case development

Education and Experience:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
  • Active license to practice law in relevant jurisdiction(s), in good standing
  • Minimum 5–8 years of complex litigation experience in a defense or plaintiff trial firm
  • Trial experience is a plus
