Career Strategies is hiring an Assistant Property Manager for an Apartment Community in the Indianapolis, IN 46235 area!

We’re looking for someone with strong people skills, sales and leasing experience, high energy, a positive attitude, and a solid work ethic—someone who’s excited about the opportunity to grow with a Property Management Company.

Job Title: Assistant Property Manager
Hours: Full-Time (Rotating Saturdays required)

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily community operations, including facilities management and property maintenance
• Build and maintain strong resident relationships and provide excellent customer service
• Manage vendor contracts for services such as landscaping, repairs, and maintenance
• Complete administrative tasks including data entry, filing, and record keeping
• Conduct routine property inspections to ensure safety and cleanliness standards are met
• Support and coordinate resident events and community activities
• Implement strategies to upsell services or amenities to residents

Requirements:

• Previous property management experience preferred
• Strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency with office software; strong data entry and organizational skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently
• Experience with Yardi, Knock, SOCI, Modern Message, or Canva is a plus
