We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Golf Course Superintendent to join our dynamic agronomy team. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the maintenance of a top-tier golf facility and to grow professionally within a supportive environment.
Assist in daily planning and execution of golf course maintenance operations.
Supervise and train maintenance staff, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
Manage irrigation systems, including scheduling and repairs.
Oversee pesticide and fertilizer applications, maintaining accurate records.
Participate in budgeting and expense management for maintenance operations.
Collaborate on long-term agronomic strategies and capital improvement projects.
Degree or certificate in Turfgrass Management or related field preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in golf course maintenance, with supervisory experience.
Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain NJ Pesticide Applicator License within 90 days.
Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
Proficiency in irrigation systems and turf management practices.
Competitive salary range of $70,000–$90,000, based on experience.
