The Boeing Test Operations & Engineering Team is looking for an
Additive Manufacturing & Prototype (AMP) Manager based out of
Tukwila, WA . Within Boeing Test & Evaluation (BT&E), the AMP Manager leads a team of Manufacturing Engineers, along with Equipment & Tool Design employees that complete Additive Manufacturing for test work statement in support of multiple Boeing Defense and Commercial programs.
Position Responsibilities: \n - Assures a solid interface with other Test Operations & Engineering teams, Test & Evaluation teams, Test Program Management, and program personnel, including early engagement with test work statement
\n - Manages employees performing engineering, fabrication, and associated technical activities in the area of Additive Manufacturing & Subtractive Manufacturing
\n - Facilitates best practice documentation, design practice authorship, knowledge sharing, role development/maturity, and robust design reviews
\n - Collaborates with managers across the organization to lead work placement, resource sharing, and development opportunities
\n - Develops and strengthens relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports
\n - Develops and grows skill base across the team by strategic hiring, individual development, and knowledge sharing
\n - Supervises AMP statement of work, assigns resources, and supports requirements synthesis
\n - Leads work forecast integration, planning, and department budget development/execution
\n - Provides status to program business partners, test program management, and leadership
\n - Develops, acquires resources for, and executes project and process improvement plans
\n - Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes
\n - Implements policies & procedures and sets operational goals
\n - Encourages, motivates, and inspires individuals and the team
\n - Facilitates innovation and special project opportunities

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): \n - Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
\n - 3+ years of engineering leadership experience
\n - 5+ years of engineering experience
\n

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): \n - Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance
\n - Experience with production engineering
\n - Experience in test & evaluation engineering
\n - Experience in military program support
\n - Experience with flight vehicle final products
\n - Experience with test bench design & build approaches and techniques
\n - Experience presenting to executive leaders
\n - Excellent communication skills

Summary Pay Range: $151,300 - $204,700
