LHH is partnering with a large organization that is searching for a temporary Accounts Payable Accountant. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of accounting experience and be comfortable handling accruals, journal entries, GL coding, and reconciliations. You will be the sole contributor for the specific business unit you are assigned to. Since you will need to navigate through a few different software systems, it would be best if you had experience on different ERP systems and have strong Microsoft Excel skills. This position will offer hybrid flexibility after training from the Bellevue, WA office. Responsibilities:

• Process and verify invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
• Prepare and record accruals, journal entries, and general ledger (GL) coding for assigned business unit.
• Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Maintain vendor records and manage relationships, including responding to inquiries and resolving payment issues.
• Collaborate with other departments to facilitate payments and support month-end closing activities.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of five years of accounting experience, preferably in accounts payable roles.
• Proficient in accruals, journal entries, GL coding, and account reconciliations.
• Experience working with various ERP systems and strong Microsoft Excel skills.
• Ability to work independently as the sole contributor for an assigned business unit.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in processing invoices and maintaining records.
• Excellent communication skills for managing vendor relationships and collaborating with internal teams.

Pay Details: $33.00 to $35.00 per hour
