Base pay range $55.00/hr - $65.00/hr Job Description: Accounting Manager (Temp) Reports to: Controller Location: White Plains, NY Contract Duration : 3 – 6 month maternity leave coverage About - Symphony Wireless Symphony Towers Infrastructure acquires, manages, and leases rooftop, tower, and other telecommunication infrastructure interests throughout the United States. As one of the largest privately held owners of telecom infrastructure assets in the United States, Symphony Wireless is backed by Palistar, one of the largest digital infrastructure firms in the country. We maintain a long-term investment perspective and streamline processes for all our strategic investments. We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager who will thrive in our collaborative, team environment. The successful candidate will manage various financial and accounting functions including month-end close processes, monthly financial package preparation, budgeting, operational reporting, and forecasting activities. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Manage month-end and year-end close processes, including balance sheet reconciliations, cash account reconciliations, and financial statement preparation. Review all reconciliations and ensure monthly follow-up. Manage daily accounting operations for the Company's communication infrastructure business, including AP/AR review, cash management, acquisition assessment, banking activities, and cross-departmental collaboration. Partner with Controller and CFO to research, analyze, and deliver detailed financial analyses supporting decision-making across all organizational levels. Conduct monthly balance sheet analysis, income statement review, and cash position/budget variance assessments as part of monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes. Perform monthly financial reporting, including variance and trend analyses. Serve as a resource for property/facility teams and clients, coordinating required procedures and processes. Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the Master Services Agreement and all relevant amendments or appendices. Develop and maintain accounting process documentation and manuals. Support staff training, development, and workload management. Ensure accurate calculation, billing, and recognition of revenue/fees. Maintain compliance with GAAP standards. Complete special projects and other functions assigned by the Controller or CFO. Qualifications 6-12 years of relevant work experience Minimum 3 years management experience Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance Experience in the Real Estate industry and working with easements is a plus. Excellent computer skills including proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint; experience with Microsoft Access is a plus. Proficiency in computer-based ERP and CRM applications (NetSuite and Salesforce) required. Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills required.
