Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting Bookkeeper to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for various accounting and bookkeeping tasks, including payroll preparation, maintaining financial records, and ensuring the smooth operation of financial processes.
Calculating and preparing cheques for payroll
Calculating fixed assets and depreciation
Maintaining financial records and balancing accounts using
both manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
Maintaining general ledgers and preparing financial statements,
including posting journal entries
Preparing statistical financial and accounting reports
Preparing tax returns and trial balances
Reconciling accounts

Proficiency in accounting software, MS Excel, MS Windows, and
QuickBooks

Canadian citizen or permanent resident of Canada

Ability to meet tight deadlines and work well under pressure
