Position Summary:

Astound Broadband is currently searching for an Enterprise Account Executive in our DFW market. This position is responsible for sales to enterprise level commercial customers, including large business customers of both internet & telephone services. This includes proactively identifying new customer sales opportunities, defining customer needs, preparing proposals, and closing deals.

A Day in the Life of the Enterprise Account Executive :

\n
• Conduct proactive sales activities, including cold-calling and knocking on doors, proactive needs assessment, applications development, proposal presentation, order negotiation and post-sales service requirements
\n
• Negotiate to secure contracts with telecommunications decision makers in order to achieve revenue growth and retention.
\n
• Manage installation projects with various teams to ensure on-time delivery, successful turn-up and customer satisfaction
\n
• Respond to requests from customers for information, support, assistance, joint proposals, pricing, etc.
\n
• Respond to demand sales requests
\n
• Supports others within the sales/service team to achieve customer satisfaction
\n
• Actively support, promote and advance all aspects of Astound’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) goals and initiatives, recognizing it as a business priority, including creating a work environment where all employees feel valued, respected, heard and empowered to do their best work

• Other duties as assigned

What You Bring to the Table:

\n
• Demonstrated success in telecommunications and internet sales to end-user customers, including strategic and large business customers and government accounts using relationship management and system sales concepts
\n
• Ability to sell to C level executives within an organization
\n
• Experience in systems selling, consultative sales techniques, customer needs analysis, sales opportunity development, and service improvement planning.
\n
• Technical skills related to network and transmission design and local access services
\n
• Product knowledge of both switched and dedicated services, as well as associated end-user and carrier applications
\n
• Operational understanding of telecommunications ordering, provisioning, and billing processes
\n
• Working knowledge of general marketing principle tools and processes
\n
• Skills necessary for decision making and maintaining customer retention
\n
• Strong interpersonal skills
\n
• Minimum 5 years’ experience selling B2B in technology environment
\n
• Exceptional presentation, negotiation and closing skills
\n
• Seasoned experience building a base of business
\n

Education  and Certifications:

\n
• 2-4 year College degree or equivalent industry related experience
\n

Base Salary: The base salary range in Texas for this position is $69,300 - $77,000 annually , plus opportunities for bonus, benefits and commission, if applicable. The base pay range represents the low and high end of the hiring range for this job. Actual pay will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to relevant skills, experience, and capabilities. It is specific to Texas and may not be applicable to other locations.

Commissions at plan: Targeted commissions at full attainment are thirty-two thousand four hundred annually. Our sales total compensation offers the potential for significant upside above targeted earnings for those who overachieve their sales targets.
